Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These terms cover how work order requests, quotes, and engagements work between you and Clara IT Solutions ("Clara IT," "we," "us"). By submitting a work order request through this site, you agree to the terms below.

How a work order request works

Submitting the form on this site is a request for service, not a confirmed booking. We'll review your request and reach out within 24 hours to confirm the scope of work and the price before anything is scheduled or billed. No work begins and no charge is made until you've agreed to that scope and price.

Fixed scope, fixed price

Each service is delivered as a defined, single engagement with a clear deliverable — not an open-ended contract. If, once we start, we discover the situation needs work beyond what was originally scoped, we'll stop and discuss it with you before doing anything additional or billing for it.

Payment

Payment terms and accepted methods will be confirmed with you directly as part of scheduling, before work begins.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed engagement, contact us as soon as you can. We'll work with you to find a new time; reasonable notice is appreciated so the time can be offered to another client.

What we're not responsible for

Our services are delivered based on the information and access you provide. We're not responsible for pre-existing issues outside the agreed scope, for third-party services or hardware we don't control, or for problems arising from decisions made after our engagement has concluded and been confirmed complete.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Clara IT's liability for any claim arising from a service we provide is limited to the amount paid for that specific engagement.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the practice grows. The version posted here is the one that applies at the time of your request.
